Pastor Cindy Norwood

I am deeply committed to preaching the gospel as written in the Holy Bible, believing that every message rooted in Scripture carries the power to bring people to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

My dedication stems from a calling to share God’s Word with clarity, compassion, and conviction, helping others to understand and embrace the hope and love found in Jesus Christ. Through faithful teaching and heartfelt ministry, I strive to inspire, encourage, and guide all who seek truth and purpose in their spiritual journey.

My husband is Michael, and together we have been blessed to journey through life with faith and love as our guide. We laugh a LOT, truly embodying the Country Farmer meets the City Girl story as we fall in love every day. He even puts up with my ever-changing hair color—LOL!

Michael's support and kindness are a daily source of strength for me, and we cherish being part of the Shady Grove Methodist Church family. Our shared commitment to serving others and growing in Christ has been a cornerstone of our relationship.

We have five grown children, each holding a special place in our hearts, and we treasure the moments we share together.

Though our nest is now empty, our home is filled with the joyful antics of our loving and rambunctious cocker spaniel, our official farm dog. He brings so much happiness and laughter to our lives, reminding us daily of the blessings that continue to surround us.
